We're currently seeking a skilled Intermediate Medical Care Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a client facility in Arlington, VA. Requirements for the position include:

• One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Other certifications may be required for this position
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills
• Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending

The primary duties of this position will include:

• Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members
• Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
• Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
• Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
• Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
• Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
• Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
• Transporting patients as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Additional requirements for the position include:

• Interpersonal Skills - ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and a professional appearance
• Technical/Motor Skills - ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Mental Requirements - must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
• Sensory - visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate

Other essential qualifications for the position include step-down and intermediate care nursing experience, a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification preferred.
