Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support to the organization by managing various functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interview schedules.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.

Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Support managers with employee evaluations and provide feedback on performance issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure company policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and recommend policy updates.

Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
- Coordinate open enrollment periods and benefits education sessions.

HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics related to turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle HR paperwork and documentation for various processes.
- Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and advanced reporting tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations or standards.
