Job Description:
The Welding Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, repair, and operation of welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and safety. This role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, programming and troubleshooting robotic welders, and assisting with new welding cell setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on welding equipment.
- Support tool room with PM schedules and improvements.
- Operate equipment, maintain parameters, and assist with weld fixture setups.
- Modify and troubleshoot welding programs, ensuring quality and process consistency.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering continuous improvement.
- Adhere to safety standards and 5S practices.
- Contribute to lean initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications:
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- 3 years of welding experience or related certification preferred.
- Proficient in welding tools, machines, and production systems.

We are looking for someone that has experience with programming and troubleshooting the robot/welder/PLC. There isn't much on about maintenance either. He appears to be an operator/welder.
