Community Engagement Coordinator
Location: Windsor, CO
Reports to: Marketing Director
Position Summary:
Future Legends Complex is seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement Coordinator to build and strengthen relationships between the complex and the local community, businesses, and organizations. This role is responsible for fostering a positive public image, increasing engagement with community partners, and ensuring Future Legends is a valued asset to the Windsor and Northern Colorado area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Outreach: Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations; represent Future Legends at community events.
- Event Coordination: Plan and promote community events, volunteer activities, and outreach initiatives.
- Public Relations: Serve as a liaison between the complex and the community, creating content for newsletters, social media, and press releases.
- Youth & Volunteer Engagement: Develop programs for youth participation and manage volunteer recruitment for events.
- Sponsorship & Partnerships: Identify and support local sponsorship opportunities to enhance community involvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, sports management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, or event coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for community building.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Windsor and Northern Colorado communities is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
