The Senior Training Specialist for Data Enablement will play a critical role in driving the success of the organization’s data initiatives by developing and delivering comprehensive Data literacy and training programs. The specialist will design technical training materials, including user guides, documentation, and video tutorials, to empower employees to effectively utilize data platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and Databricks. This position requires knowledge of data visualization tools, data connections, and integration with multiple data sources to enable users to access, analyze, and interpret data across various systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Training Development :
Design and create engaging technical training materials, including step-by-step user guides, video tutorials, and other multimedia content for data tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Databricks.
Ensure all training content is accessible, up to date, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of users across the organization.
Program Delivery :
Conduct live and virtual training sessions to ensure that employees are proficient in utilizing data visualization tools and connecting with various data sources.
If needed, provide one-on-one or group coaching sessions to help users at different skill levels.
Develop and deliver training on creating and managing data connections between multiple data sources, integrating with databases, and utilizing advanced analytics features in platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
Collaboration and Support :
Work closely with the other Data verticals, such as Governance and platforms teams, to ensure training materials align with the approach and best practices.
Support the Data Enablement team, providing ongoing support to users after training sessions to ensure adoption and continued skill development.
Evaluation and Improvement :
Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data, and implement improvements to enhance the training process continuously.
Stay current on updates to Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, and other related tools, ensuring training content reflects the latest features and best practices.
Creating training material , user guides, videos and need to be technical also on Tableau, Power BI, databricks creating connections to multiple data sources.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and delivering technical training, preferably in data analytics or business intelligence environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly materials.
Experience in creating various types of training materials, including video tutorials, user guides, and other multimedia resources.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, and creating connections between multiple data sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and large-scale data environments.
