Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the consolidated activities of multiple entities within a designated territory. Key Responsibilities:
Company Culture, Strategy & Leadership
- Champion the company’s safety culture and actively support all safety initiatives.
- Promote and uphold company values, mission, vision, and ethical standards.
- Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead and mentor regional management teams, setting clear expectations and accountability.
- Drive recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Lead and implement change management initiatives to adapt to market conditions.
Operations Management
- Provide oversight of construction and manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Manage production planning, budgeting, and capital investments to support operations.
- Optimize plant, equipment, and workforce utilization to enhance safety, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
Financial Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the region.
- Analyze market data and recommend operational and expansion strategies.
- Establish financial targets, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for regional teams.
- Approve budgets, monitor expenses, and manage capital expenditures.
- Present financial and operational reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to financial best practices, ethics policies, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction, aggregate materials manufacturing, or a related industry.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Proven ability to mentor, develop talent, and drive team success.
- Experience with financial statements, budgeting, and capital management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, define solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging employees, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to wear and maintain required PPE in compliance with company safety standards.
- Occasionally required to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
- Occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and working in construction/industrial environments.
- Exposure to dust, chemicals, loud noise, and varying weather conditions.
- Frequent travel, including overnight and some international trips.
