Civil Engineering Project Lead Opportunity

FutureRecruit is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Naperville, IL.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineering Project Lead to work with our team to prepare civil engineering designs for projects such as retail shopping centers, restaurants, schools, and industrial development.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Naperville office team to prepare civil engineering designs for projects.
• Undertake site due diligence and layout, grading and utility design, and stormwater management calculations.
• Collaborate with the larger company including survey, structural, transportation, and landscape architecture departments.
• Represent the firm at meetings with clients, owners, or agencies during the design and construction process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8-12 years of progressive experience in land development design and civil engineering.
• Experience with grading, utility, and stormwater design.
• Experience permitting with Illinois agencies such as DuPage County, MWRD, IEPA, IDOT, etc.
• Attention to detail and self-initiative.
• Ability to delegate tasks to team members.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Advanced technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
