The primary responsibilities of the position are:
The property manager is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and protecting the agency's property and equipment in a manner that reflects an overall pride and concern for the safety, functionality, efficiency, and aesthetics of the agency's buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Duties for the position include:
- Accurately assess the general condition of the agency’s buildings and equipment and effectively respond to needed repairs or replacements.
- Schedule and oversee the work of contractors who perform work relating to construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, equipment repair, safety and security systems ensuring all vendors are appropriately vetted and qualified.
- Schedule, and direct all tasks relating to ongoing services, such as landscaping and janitorial services, using either assigned staff or outside contractors.
- Perform seasonal lawn maintenance including mowing and trimming or other required tasks such as snow removal.
- Safely and effectively perform maintenance/repairs of a general nature.
- Responsible for the oversight and distribution of central supplies, furniture, and equipment. This includes maintaining an adequate supply of the day-to-day items needed for operations and the organization of the space where supplies and furnishings are stored.
- Assist other department tasks requiring physical effort including cleaning and moving projects, shipping and receiving, and other functions that may arise such as vehicle transport or workspace setup.
- Serve as the Safety Officer to provide oversight of all safety and security procedures and primary contact for related inspections and reviews.
- Help secure work environments by assisting with safety protocols, key holder management, and access to the agency buildings and grounds.
- Maintain accurate and timely digital and paper records relating to regulatory and licensure compliance and applicable health and safety requirements including OSHA and DOL while ensuring all building violations and code requirements are resolved promptly and documented accordingly.
- Effectively respond to and address any tenant or resident concerns relating to the agency’s residential facilities in a manner compliant with all HUD, Landlord Tenant Act, or other applicable licensure protocols.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications required for the position:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum two years direct experience maintaining commercial and residential property and grounds.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred requirements:
- Experience or knowledge about construction, property repair and maintenance is highly desired.
