Property Manager – Hartford, CT
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE | Full Benefits | Direct Hire | On-Site | Monday - Friday
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of commercial properties in Hartford, CT. This role ensures buildings are well-maintained, cost-effective, and tenant satisfaction is prioritized. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leasing, construction, finance, and maintenance teams while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee property operations, maintenance, and financial performance.
- Manage service provider contracts, competitive bidding, and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, property policies, and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine property inspections and coordinate necessary maintenance.
- Facilitate tenant move-ins/move-outs and address tenant concerns.
- Assist with onboarding newly acquired properties.
- Approve invoices, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate property records.
- Provide regular reports to upper management on property performance and issues.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial property management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in property management.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Property Management certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Standard office environment with on-site property visits required.
- Regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with on-call responsibilities.
- Occasional work outside normal hours may be required.
