Shift- 7am-3:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
G.A. Braun is seeking a full-time Laser Cutting Operator on 1st. The Laser Cutting Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a laser. Laser Cutting Operators should have the ability to read/interpret blueprints, read tape measure and a protractor. A Laser Cutting Operator should be able to read, functionally understand, and apply work instructions to the job duties along with scanning in and out of work orders.
Laser Cutting Operator Responsibilities:
· Select the appropriate material for processing according to work order.
· Setup, operate and maintain processing equipment.
· Operate an overhead crane and/or forklift to load/unload steel from trucks and storage rack.
· Accurately scan in and out of work orders.
· Perform general maintenance on equipment and tools.
· Assist fellow associates with large parts.
· Train new employees
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Laser Cutting Operator Qualifications:
· Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
· Reliable transportation
· Overtime available and encouraged.
· Manufacturing experience (preferred)
