Water Heater and Boiler Repair/Installation Technician

G&S Sales is looking for a full-time Water Heater and Boiler Repair/Installation technician to work in Utah, along the Wasatch Front and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for someone who is experienced in the Plumbing and/or HVAC trades and is looking to take their career to the next level. The goal of this position is to provide system support and technical training to contractors in the area who are installing and using our products. This position will also host and be part of training events in the territory. This is a sales position, and applicants must be willing to build and maintain lasting connections with customers in the area.

Our main office and warehouse are in Salt Lake City and our territory includes all of Utah, along with parts of Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada. Travel inside the territory is to be expected and there are occasional outside-territory travel opportunities for training, collaboration and networking as needed. Travel is typically by car or plane – a company vehicle will be provided, or mileage will be reimbursed if the employee prefers to use their own vehicle. Daily travel inside the territory is expected.

Repair/Installation Specialist must live within our sales territory. Preferably along the Wasatch front or surrounding areas.

We are looking for:

• Someone who is knowledgeable with hydronic heating systems and water heater repair and is willing to provide technical training and support to customers in the area.
• Someone who can provide start up support to hydronic heating technicians in the area.
• A self-motivator with the discipline required to conduct their day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.
• Valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record. Applicant is expected to drive throughout the territory to fulfill sales responsibilities.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

What you will do:

• Deliver high quality service to our existing customers and work with them to determine the causes of error in water heating appliances.
• Work inside the territory to find and generate new customers for G&S Sales.
• Maintain and initiate professional communication with contractors, municipalities, and potential customers through use of a CRM system.
• Other duties as assigned to aid in territorial success.

Position Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in the trades and/or wholesale industry sales preferred.

· Knowledge of water heating systems and how to repair them.

· Journeyman license in Plumbing or HVAC is a plus but not required.

· Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.

· Strong desire for customer success and a passion for work.
