What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at G&B Amusements?
Job duties include:
· Processing mail and invoices; reviewing invoices for necessary documentation and approval, entering invoices into accounting software ensuring proper general ledger account coding, and paying invoices in a timely manner
· Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies such as improper charges or missing authorizations/purchase orders
· Maintaining records; keeping accurate financial records, including invoice copies, purchase orders, and approvals
· Prioritizing invoices to ensure timely payment to our vendors and handling manual check requests for vendor payment, while taking all reasonable prompt payment discounts
· Contacting vendors to resolve payment issues or questions
· Communicating with coworkers, management, and vendors regarding purchases and payments due
· Running month end reports and providing the Controller with any reports requested, and assisting in monthly closing routines and annual audits
· Onboarding all new vendors, including processing W-9s and obtaining liability insurance certificates
· Processing and mailing 1099s
· Other projects as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
· 1 - 3 years accounts payables experience preferred
· Knowledge of general accounting principles
· General math skills
· Confidentiality
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Bill.com and Microsoft Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
