Job Title : Senior HR Generalist
Company Introduction : G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. We store and deliver more than 4,000 food items to meet the needs of our customers across 27 states and 28 states internationally. In recent years, G&C Foods has grown to be one of the most respected redistributors in the United States. We are rapidly expanding all areas of our organization.
Location : Alachua, FL
Pay : $70,000-$80,000 Annually with an Associate Bonus Program
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Job Summary :
The Senior HR Generalist in our Southeast Alachua facility will act as the lead support for the HR Operations functional areas of the HR Department with a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in benefits, compliance, and employee relations. Critical to this position is a motivated, self-driven team player. The ability to multi-task and change priorities is crucial as the Human Resources office is a fast-paced environment with many initiatives taking place simultaneously. Human Resources is a service organization and as such, representatives must have patience and the flexibility to address personnel issues as they arise and treat all employees in a warm, friendly, accommodating manner.
This person will be responsible for :
- Employee Relations and Advisement :
Provide advisement to employees, supervisors and managers on a variety of topics related to HR
Benefits Administration :
Assist with Annual independent Audits to produce 5500 filings
Develops and implements personnel policies and procedures with approval from the Northeast Corporate office.
Assist the HR Onboarding Partner with New Hire Orientations, Interviews and welcoming new employees. providing company information and facilitating training on policies and procedures.
Compliance Management :
Staying updated on employment laws, ensuring adherence to regulations, and maintaining employee records.
Employee Communications & Engagement :
Communicating company policies, updates, and important information to employees.
