Description
Surgical Care Center, a state of-the-art outpatient surgical facility located in Painesville, OH is now hiring for a full-Time Surgical Technician. This position includes a schedule with no weekends and no late evening hours.
We are a fast-paced ophthalmic surgery center with a focus on excellence in patient care and exceeding patient expectations.
Surgical Technician's Major responsibilities include ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments; assisting the physician during procedures; scrubs for all ophthalmic procedures; maintains sterile field; instrument processing, and inventory control.
Requirements
Surgical Technician Certification preferred but not required.
1-2 years’ experience in an operating room or equivalent experience with sterile procedures.
Additional experience with cataracts and retina preferred
