What are the responsibilities and job description for the SR Director, eCommerce Merchandising position at G-III LEATHER FASHIONS?
We have an immediate opening for an energetic, passionate & experienced Full Time Professional to join our eCommerce team as a SR Director, eCommerce Merchandising.
This position will collaborate with wholesale partners, store merchants, marketing and operations to create a seamless customer experience on the sites that clearly tells the brand stories and maximizes the eComm assortment and business.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Retail Merchandising, or similar required
- 3 years' experience procuring merchandise, curating fashion sites, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to deliver highest level of customer experience meeting revenue goals
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Experience working on the Shopify platform
- An aptitude for fashion merchandising
- An understanding of database functionality
- Acute attention to detail and ability to research / problem solve issues
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of excellence
- Team player with a proactive approach
- Commitment to meeting tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee product and content: put products live on website, merchandise site based on marketing initiatives, selling reports, trend and seasonality, and find new methods to streamline the product launch process
- Work with product teams to identify and allocate eComm exclusive product across all brands
- Develop content and track deliverables for products within deadlines with great accuracy (images, delivery dates, copy, product specifications, pricing, swatch creation, categorization, and sequencing)
- Coordinate product photography samples, photo log, and photo shoot calendar
- Work with teach team on new product setup and entering new and reorder buys
- Work with the Graphic Designer to ensure all products featured in creative have appropriate inventory levels and are merchandised prominently
- Develop and analyze website reporting and customer behavior; use to optimize site merchandising and productivity
- Perform regular Quality Assurance testing on site and troubleshoot site issues in a timely manner
- Implement promotions and price changes and maintain master product file
- Analyze and report on product and category selling
- Identify and act on site inventory depletion and replenishment
- Develop expertise in content management systems
- Address customer product inquiries and enhance site product details
- Analyze and report on competition by patterning web sites and email campaigns
- Assist the team with tasks and projects
Other Information:
The pay range for this position is: $140k - $160k per year. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
