We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Manager (PMM) to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT project management principles, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and teams. Excellent team leadership, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication skills are crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Set goals with each project manager and review their performance.
- Offer coaching and project guidance.
- Address and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders.
Strategic Planning and Oversight:
- Collaborate with leadership to define project priorities and timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop strategies for risk management.
Communication and Delivery Oversight:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the project manager team.
- Provide regular updates on project statuses and risks.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between project teams and other departments.
Project Execution and Delivery:
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Assist in resolving complex challenges during project execution.
- Enforce standards and best practices for project delivery.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure projects comply with company policies and client requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project management processes.
- Train staff on GL Solutions' PMM standard processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- IT Project Management Principles: Knowledge of IT-specific project lifecycles and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
- Business Process Alignment: Knowledge of how IT projects support organizational goals.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate IT-specific risks.
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Time Management: Efficient scheduling to meet deadlines.
- Strategic Vision: Planning IT projects that align with business strategies.
- Adaptability: Navigating rapidly changing technologies and industry trends.
- Attention to Detail: Effective use of dashboards to drive team performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Several years of experience in IT project management or team leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end IT projects.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation, Lean Six Sigma, or relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Earn $9,600 to $14,400 per month depending on experience and certifications.
- 20 days of PTO.
