Job Overview
The Director of Compliance plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs that mitigate risks related to fraud, financial reporting, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws, including TILA and securities law, as well as experience in conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Manage compliance functions for multiple client accounts of G&M
Develop risk plans based on drug or medical device product profiles
Establish framework for an auditing and monitoring plan
Manage daily compliance matters and educate internal teams on regulatory requirements
Establish the vision and framework for client accounts across law & compliance functions.
Implement best practices across internal and external matters.
Guide teams through the compliance processes including scoping, planning, budgeting,
executing and controlling the work, cost and resources on a matter
Educate, coach and mentor Law and Compliance team members on how to employ projects
in and lower associated risks
Develop analytics tools to help ensure capacity and efficiency
Lead regular project team meetings
Develop project plans, prepare notes and follow up on action items
Help identify internal gaps and provide solutions
Contribute to discussion and create a frame work for IC plans, sponsorships, speaker
programs, grants, ad boards, pricing, PDMA, patient advocacy programs, Hub services,
HIPAA and other matters
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Law degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience managing compliance department in
the Pharmaceutical industry
Strong practical and hands on working knowledge in the pharmaceutical commercial
compliance area
Excellent communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills
Strong organizational skills and must be able to multitask across multiple accounts
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as effective team member
Strong analytical skills to discover, analyze and resolve problems
Articulation, detail-oriented, proofreading, and grammatical proficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
