Position Summary
The Facility Administrator oversees the comprehensive management and operational effectiveness of the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Center (CMOP). This role includes supervising facility operations, managing staff, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, and providing exceptional patient services. The Facility Administrator collaborates with healthcare teams to improve patient care and streamline operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily operations of the CMOP, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance operational performance.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and lead administrative and support personnel.
- Cultivate a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Financial Management
- Create and manage the facility’s budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial viability.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
Patient Services
- Improve patient satisfaction through effective communication and prompt service delivery.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and feedback in a timely manner.
Collaboration
- Partner with healthcare providers and administrative departments to coordinate services and enhance patient outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between the CMOP and external partners.
Quality Improvement
- Track performance metrics and initiate quality improvement projects.
- Regularly evaluate operations and patient care processes to identify and implement enhancements.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably within an outpatient or clinical environment.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management and operational oversight.
Skills
- Strong leadership and excellent communication abilities.
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial management and budget administration.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based at the CMOP, with regular interactions in clinical settings.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet operational demands.
