This is a hybrid role based in our new Dallas infrastructure hub where we work on the latest technologies in a cutting-edge environment.
Hourly rate: Approx. $50 per hour
The role
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will be the backbone of the People Operation function for GR in our Dallas hub, ensuring smooth and efficient onboarding activities, and delivering a world-class employee experience.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Own all communication with new joiners, including pre-start and post-induction emails, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for new joiner queries from offer acceptance through to post-induction, providing timely and helpful responses
- Coordinate day-one induction logistics in collaboration with our Technical Support and HR teams
- Deliver day one induction content, including an Introduction to G-Research presentation and HR overview
- Work with our external HR team to ensure employment documents are issued and background screening checks are processed ahead of their first day
- Manage new joiners in our HR system (Workday)
- Manage the Contingent Worker hiring process, including issuing documentation, overseeing background checks, and working with the onboarding teams on coordinating inductions
- Work with our HRBP team and Organisational Development team on scheduling and managing our Bootcamps for new joiners
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in HR administration and coordination
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with HR systems
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A proactive approach with an ability to build relationships and influence
- The ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities at once and escalate issues where necessary
- A consistent improvement mindset and eye for spotting potential efficiencies in processes
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be highly proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and Excel
