Production Operator Job Description
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Clean/Sanitize equipment, tables and workstation.
· Start up all conveyors, metal detectors, and printers needed to be used for production run.
· Verify that all machines are in proper working order, clean and sanitized for the days production run.
· Ability to set up lot number coding and follow specification sheets provided for each SKU
· Assist in various cleaning tasks for support equipment.
· Lead team in various tasks associated with each production run including stationing various employees in the process to ensure quality and customer specifications are met.
· Identify non-conforming materials and segregate with notification to proper channels.
· Demonstrate the ability to shut down all equipment, clean, organize and prepare for the next production run.
· Properly document paperwork to include, lot numbers, weights and various requirements.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other member of the Management Team
