Seeking a live-in motel manager for one of our properties in Aroostook County, Maine, that is eager to join our exciting, growing company at G Suites Hospitality. G Suites Hospitality owns and operates many motels across Central and Northern Maine and is focused on excellent guest service, comfortable & affordable lodging, and continued growth.
Guest satisfaction is critical to the job; therefore, any candidate should enjoy talking with the general public and be able to represent themselves and the motel in a way that is honest, friendly, and fosters trust. The motel manager will also oversee all housekeepers and housekeeping services, including room cleanings, laundry, and exterior upkeep. Modern technology will be used extensively in the motel operations, including mobile devices, so candidates should be comfortable with learning how to use the required digital tools.
Compensation will include a regular salary, monthly bonuses based on motel performance, and free housing in the apartment out behind the office with all utilities, TV, and internet included! Responsibilities will include:
- Run the front desk, including interacting with guests & others as the face of the motel
- Manage online, in-person, and phone reservation requests
- Check-in and check-out guests
- Collect payments and properly handle any cash received
- Respond to guest requests/complaints promptly and with appropriate follow-up
- Oversee and complete the cleaning services by staff housekeepers and self
- Manage motel operations, including finances, bills, renovations, and maintenance
- Work closely with the area manager, housekeeping supervisor, and technology specialist to improve the motel profitability and guest satisfaction.

Pay: $14.15 - $16.00 per hour
