What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at G-TECH Services, Inc.?
Develops, administers, organizes and conducts training and educational programs in connection with management and promotional development, on-the-job training and employee orientations. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.
Training Administrator:
- Supporting the onboarding process for new hires, including the creation of training binders
- Proctoring TRB exams and managing the training review board's administrative functions
- Serving as the back-up Diamond Learning Administrator and mentoring facility personnel on training material content improvements
- Developing or updating training presentations/content given materials/technical support and facilitating the creation of learner-appropriate content
- Identifying the need for training material updates after implementation changes
- Facilitating the onboarding and offboarding of employees in all site systems
- Overseeing Cintas Administration and Maintenance
- Serving as the back-up ESWP Tool Administrator
- Acting as MOC coordinator for OXO, ensuring system compliance with plant policy
- Creating events and action items in the Event and Action Tool (EAT) and running reports
- Reviewing MOCs as a document reviewer
- Facilitating and ensuring on-time procedure reviews
- Handling document moves related to plant changes (MOC) efficiently
- Maintaining and updating various libraries across the asset and site, including the organization of new binders, filing, and record retention
- Keeping files organized in the file structure, including running tree reports and conducting clean sweeps of offices to ensure compliance
- Managing both hard copy and server copy of files within record retention manual guidelines and creating/formatting documents using plan templates
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus
- Have 3 years of experience in document control, administrative roles, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with document management systems like SharePoint
- Have experience with ESWP tools, MOC coordination, and Diamond Learning systems (highly desired)
- Have strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Pay attention to detail and are committed to maintaining high standards of record accuracy and compliance
