Worker’s Compensation Executive / Legal Assistant
Perform a variety of administrative tasks for Corporate Medical Director and in-house workers’ compensation department.
Skills Required :
- Coordinate department and interdepartmental meetings.
- Track schedules. Receive, track and update data files.
- Process legal documents.
- Answer telephones, respond to emails, and process mail and EOB’s.
- eFiling with the courts.
- Coordinate and calendar case deadlines and court dates.
- Prepare, send, diary and follow up on medical authorizations and / or subpoenas to medical providers.
- Copy / scan medical, employment and disability records and distribute to appropriate parties.
- Perform mailroom duties such as coordinating the distribution of mail and other correspondence to office personnel.
- Backup support for editing or adding vendors or making changes to employee’s information in WCS.
- Other administrative tasks as requested.
