What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician/Aggregate Equipment position at G.W. Van Keppel Co.?
Seeking a customer-oriented, competent diesel mechanic to perform aggregate machine repair and maintenance services in the shop and in the field. The work day begins at 7:30 AM, Monday - Friday. May require occasional overtime work evenings or weekends.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational Training or 2 years of experience performing heavy machinery mechanical services (Volvo, Roadtec, Bornag Etnyre, brands preferred)
- 2 years of hydraulic, electrical and heavy construction equipment experience
- Proficiency using heavy machinery diagnostics equipment
- Must have own set of tools
- Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Possessing or obtaining Class B CDL license within first 60 days of employment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
