CAD Draftsman

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that are essential for the successful execution of projects. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles. The Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that all specifications are met accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as Carlson or equivalent associated cad platforms.
• Create schematics and layouts for site designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Produce visual representations of designs using Sketchup and 2D animation techniques.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on potential improvements or modifications.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

Experience

• Experience in creating schematics and mechanical designs is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to draft accurate technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• A background in land surveying and civil design is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
