This role involves analyzing market trends, customer data, and cost structures to recommend competitive pricing models, support contract negotiations, and enhance revenue management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market conditions, competitor pricing, and historical sales data to develop optimized pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Product teams to ensure pricing aligns with market demand, customer expectations, and business objectives.
- Create dynamic pricing models and tools to support margin analysis, profitability forecasts, and pricing adjustments.
- Conduct cost analysis to determine product margins and recommend price changes that maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on sales performance and profitability, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop pricing dashboards and reports to track key metrics and provide real-time insights to leadership.
- Support contract pricing and bid strategies by preparing detailed cost and price proposals.
- Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Assist in developing discount structures, promotional pricing, and market change alerts in response to industry dynamics.
- Collaborate with IT and Business Intelligence teams to enhance pricing automation and integration with ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or data analytics, preferably in the aviation or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in pricing and data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of cost-based, value-based, and market-based pricing strategies and revenue management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with aviation aftermarket or aerospace supply chain pricing.
- Familiarity with Quantum Control and Salesforce.
- Certification in pricing, analytics, or financial modeling (e.g., CPP, CFA, or similar).
