As we expand our entertainment portfolio, we are seeking a Sponsorship Manager with strong connections to sponsors and a proven track record of attracting sponsorships for high-profile entertainment projects.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Manager with 4 years of experience in securing sponsorships for entertainment-related events, programs, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a history of building relationships with sponsors and bringing in high-value sponsorships to enhance revenue streams for entertainment projects.
This is a 3-month contract position with the opportunity to transition to full-time by January based on performance. The salary range is $85k-$125k base commission.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will develop and execute sponsorship strategies for entertainment projects, including online series and Broadway musicals. Your main responsibilities include identifying potential sponsors, building a robust sponsorship pipeline, and creating custom sponsorship packages that align with sponsor goals. You will also act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring that relationships are maintained and that sponsors receive the value they expect.
You will prospect new sponsors across relevant industries (luxury, tech, consumer goods, etc.), manage all outreach, and oversee the development of proposals that leverage unique sponsorship opportunities such as product placement, branded content, and event activations. This role will focus heavily on relationship management, so maintaining and growing long-term sponsor partnerships will be a key priority.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in sponsorship management or business development, with a focus on securing sponsorships.
- Proven track record in developing and managing sponsor relationships, with a demonstrated ability to close sponsorship deals.
- Strong connections to potential sponsors across various industries, with experience in creating mutually beneficial sponsorship packages.
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present compelling sponsorship opportunities.
- Ability to develop strategic sponsorship plans that align with both sponsor and organizational objectives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple sponsorship deals and events simultaneously.
- Creative and innovative approach to developing sponsorship packages that stand out in the entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software for tracking sponsor outreach and deal progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in or alongside the entertainment industry, particularly with online content or live events, is a plus but not required.
