General Responsibilities:
Assist the Administrator with duties as assigned, lead the marketing department, acting as the initial contact point for potential residents
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Maintain a professional appearance that would reflect well on The Gables.
- Develop and maintain pleasant relationships and interactions with facility residents. Friendly interpersonal skills are required, and attitudes must be positive.
- Obtain knowledge of general building operation, so as to be able to stand in, temporarily, during the absence of the Administrator.
- Lead the marketing department in both marketing the building (web presence) and selling the building to potential residents (with the help of the Administrator).
- Coordinate with Outside Services concerning resident needs and health care.
- Assist in resident supply tracking and ordering.
- Assist in managing the day to day operations of the building including solving problems and investigating issues as they arise.
- Assist in tracking data such as incidents, falls, skin conditions, hospitalizations, ect.
- Responsible for employee timecards and preparation of payroll information.
- Responsible for maintaining notes of administrative meetings.
- Participate, with other team members, in the planning and hosting of extra-curricular activities such as family parties and other catering events.
- Take responsibility for various other assignments as they are made and follow-up appropriately with the Administrator.
