This is opportunity is an unpaid internship role as an Administrative Assistant at Gabriel's Place, with the opportunity for a full-time job offer including pay and benefits. The role is hybrid, and is based in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility for remote work. Day-to-day tasks include providing administrative support, maintaining records, communicating with parents, partners, and other stakeholders and assisting with clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Schedule Face to Face meetings
- Creates agendas & maintains company calendar
- Formats emails, word documents, PDF documents and presentations when needed.
- Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary.
- Manages correspondence by answering emails and returning phone calls within 48 hours
- Assists in creating and sending invoices and statements
- Communicates with relevant agencies to obtain and record vendor Certificates of Insurance and other important documents.
- Research cost effective vendor and volunteer opportunities
- Assists in planning and arranging events.
- Willingness to attend events or workshops for marketing and expansion opportunities.
Qualifications
- Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills
- Phone Etiquette and Communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel (Google Suites is also acceptable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong Experience or Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration or related field
