About the Role: Matter Brands is seeking a talented and versatile Brand Manager to cover a 16-week maternity leave. This role involves managing marketing efforts for Atom Studios, a premium brand focused on design-forward and sustainable mobile accessories, and Alara Human Tech, a health-conscious tech brand offering innovative solutions to reduce EMF exposure. The ideal candidate will excel in social media management, email marketing, content creation, and website optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and execute engaging social media posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Monitor performance and optimize content using Loomly for planning and analytics
- CRM: Stay up to date with direct messages and promptly reply to comments to enhance engagement and foster a positive community experience
- Create engaging social posts / content (ability to use inhouse graphic designer as needed)
2. Email Marketing
- Build email calendar based on monthly brand initiatives
- Plan, copywrite, design, and schedule weekly email campaigns using Klaviyo
- Ensure campaigns align with brand tone, voice, and strategic goals
- Provide regular reporting along with solution-oriented feedback
3. Creative Content Management (Web)
- Drive strategic content audit of the Atom Studios website
- Update and optimize website copy, ensuring it reflects brand messaging and voice
- Source high-quality images to enhance website aesthetics and improve user experience
4. PR & Influencer
- Build influencer and PR strategy to drive brand awareness
- Coordinate with UGC and influencer contacts to gather content for new product launches.
- Assist in finding and activating new influencers and PR contacts for the brands
- Oversee seeding kits and shipping execution
5. Product Launch Project Management
- Own NPI product timelines and serve as liaison between marketing, web, product, and design
- Build launch strategy across web, email, social, and PR/Influencer
- Lead bi-weekly meetings with key stakeholders
6. Creative Campaigns:
- Build creative briefs for all campaigns across 2 brands
- Work with web and design teams to produce assets including: hero banners, paid digital ads, social content, website PDP content, etc.
- Coordinate and oversee photoshoots/videoshoots as needed - aesthetic moodboards, shotlists, organize locations/photog/models, proplist, etc.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Klaviyo for email marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Figma for content design and visual assets
- Social Media Management experience, including using tools like Loomly for content planning and performance tracking
- Familiarity with Shopify (not required but highly beneficial)
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to brand consistency and clarity
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across two brands
- Experience using Wrike or other project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.)
