What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry/Procurement Specialist position at Gage Professionals?
TEMP TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY: ORDER ENTRY/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Point of contact for customers
- Add sales orders and work orders to the ERP system
- Military and Commercial drawing review
- Quoting and customer interaction
- Bill of Material (BOM) review
- Purchase all required material
- Vendor selection, communication and price negotiation. This includes overseas material suppliers
- Ensure that products are produced correctly, in a timely manner, and to meet customer specifications.
- Verify that production of products is within labor and material limits.
- Communicate production requirements to management and workers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a technical/manufacturing field
- High level of computer skills, Microsoft Office, ERP system, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
