We are seeking a highly motivated Highway Infrastructure Manager to join our team at GAI Consultants, Inc. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating highway infrastructure projects from conceptualization to completion.
Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced engineer with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- You should have at least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, including design development, review, and management of assignments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate highway engineering horizontal and vertical geometry designs through CAD software (MicroStation, OpenRoads) using the AASHTO Green Book and applicable state/county/local government guidance documents.
- Oversee the preparation of scopes, budgets, and schedules for specific tasks of overall projects.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure technical competence and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering, including design development, review, and management of assignments.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor direct reports and other engineers to ensure technical competence and compliance with company standards.
