Summary
As a Director of Business Operations and Process at Gainwell, you will work with a team of subrogation professionals, engineers and caseworkers to build creative solutions that generate true net new value for the company. The processes you will work on utilize healthcare data to build in automated decisions, improve existing workflow and bring technology to bear on manual processes. Specific focus will be on driving metrics into the business to improve service levels, increase recoveries and reduce error rates.
You will manage supervisors and managers in their role, and interface daily on production requirements and completion. Six sigma principles will be applied as well as use of AI, automation and other data science concepts.

The pay range for this position is $116,100.00 - $165,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Your role in our mission
- Manage a team of subrogation management professionals and caseworkers.
- Identify key process steps to be measured, managed and pushed into daily accountability metrics.
- Use data science, data manipulation and workflow to optimize case handling.
- Participate in client meetings, annual reviews and ad hoc meetings.
- P&L responsibility:
- $200 million in annual recoveries
- $20 million in operating revenue
- Document processes and procedures using standard methodologies and tools.
- Apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to identify and plan improvements (process and technology) including identifying the current process, applying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
- Develop an intimate understanding of the industry and subject matter.
- Facilitate organizational change.
What we're looking for
- >10 years related work experience with >8 years managing people and processes.
- Health care background preferred, technical experience preferred.
- Healthcare subrogation experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management or similar.

- Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States.
- May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs.
