Your role in our mission
- Outstanding service delivery is one of Gainwell’s great strengths. Play a vital role in achieving that as we deliver better health and human services outcomes.
- Manage and oversee claim operations to ensure Gainwell meets contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Navigate complex relationships between delivery and client groups to ensure stronger client relationships
- Create more satisfied clients by identifying service improvements
- Implement Federal and State regulations related to claim/encounter processing
- Support proposal teams to integrate new, enhanced and existing service offerings
- Bolster our workforce by selecting and hiring employees to support your team; train them to enhance their performance, development and work products
- Substantial experience in all facets of the claims payment lifecycle, including manual adjudication, system configuration and maintenance, quality, research and resolution, reporting, and coding.
- A solid understanding of Claims systems, payment regulations, and Medicaid (with a strong preference to Indiana Medicaid)
- Previous leadership experience in a healthcare claims environment
- Familiarity with claim/encounter submissions from a Managed Care Organization
- Strong executive presence and excellent written and oral communication skills to build relationships and interact with clients and team member
- Skilled at managing a large, diverse portfolio of claims system enhancements and updates alongside an engaged regulatory client
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to deliver high-quality results to clients, helping to quickly problem-solve roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery of projects
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliant Electronic Data Interchange claim transactions
- Must be in Indianapolis, IN area
- This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
- Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

- Employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.

Salary : $93,400 - $133,400
