What are the responsibilities and job description for the Organization Change Management Lead position at Galactic Network Integrators, INC?
• Applying and leading a structured change management approach and
methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and transformation
efforts
• Developing a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of
the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change
• Identifying potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and
develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
• Conducting readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a
logical and easy-to-understand manner
• Developing a set of actionable and targeted change management plans –
including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan
and resistance management plan
• Engaging stakeholders and supporting the implementation of plans by
employee-facing managers and business leaders
• Functioning as an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are
change sponsors
• Monitoring and managing adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual
changes and developing action or mitigation plans when needed
• Identifying resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and
implement corrective actions
• Creating and enabling reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of
milestones, project progress and successful outcomes
• Collaborating with project teams to integrate change management activities into
the overall project plan
• Triage program issues as they are identified related to the implementation and
execution of the change management processes

REQUIREMENTS
1. Must have project and organizational change management experience
2. Must have government and public utilities operational experience
preferably in customer service, human resource / employee relations,
unionized workforce environments
3. Strong leadership skills and management experience leading mid-large
sized teams.
4. Experience with diverse technologies and strategies for effectively
reconciling changes to a system.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Must be able to analyze complex data and situations, use the information to
develop effective change strategies, identify potential risks, and develop
contingency plans to mitigate them
7. Exceptional facilitation skills with all levels of staff, executives through the front
line
8. Training knowledge and experience, preferably in the water and gas utility
industry
9. Expert level in Microsoft Suite, Teams, and Forms
preferably in customer service, human resource / employee relations,
unionized workforce environments
