What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Galactic Network Integrators, INC?
• Leads the Program Management Office (PMO) for system(s) replacement and implementation; including overall control, scope management, change management, communication, issue/risk management and resolution, deliverables, and acceptance
• Provides overall coordination and support to ensure the success of the Executive Steering Committee (ESC) meetings
• Coordinates and communicates successes, issues, and concerns to Project Managers, Executive Sponsors and ESC
• Documents and provides to the ESC all solution/design changes, including business requirement validation and impact analysis of configuration or customization recommendations
• Ensures that Project Managers provide status updates to integrated project plan
• Ensure that the appropriate Project Team and SMEs are identified and available to fulfill their project responsibilities
• Ensure that project plans include the necessary integration points
• Attend project status meetings and monitor project deliverables progress with appropriate Project Managers
• Provide Project Team with updates of other organization initiatives that could impact the implementation of the system
• Review schedule changes and identify the impact on the organization to identify whether the changes can be absorbed or require a change of schedule/resource assignment
REQUIREMENTS
1. 20 years’ experience in managing and leading large public sector programs with successful development and implementation of solutions with significant budgets (>= $50M)
2. Must have strong public sector customer service domain knowledge, preferably in customer relationship management, water and/or gas utilities
3. Must have customer service implementation experience in a leadership role in four or more programs /project
4. Must have experience leading executive committees
5. Strong leadership and communication skills
6. Strong program management and business delivery capability
7. Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite, Projects, Teams, and SharePoint
