Galatoire's Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced FOH Manager to join our award winning FOH service team to oversee our dining establishment's daily operations. You will be joining a team of experienced qualified professionals, responsible for providing customers with a classic New Orleans dining experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Please Note: Management positions require going to Galatoire's website, www.galatoires.com/careers in order to complete a FOH Manager application and assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all FOH staff
  • Oversee guest services and resolve issues
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss upcoming business needs
  • Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous fine dining experience
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high volume environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Oversee customer service standards, addressing any guest concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance guest experience and increase customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in supervising staff within a fine dining environment.
  • Strong shift management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in training development and staff training initiatives.
  • Background in restaurant management is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
