GEN AI Data Platform Engineer (GEN AI data ingestion pipeline engineer)

Client/ Domain: The Hartford/ Insurance (domain experience in finance or insurance a plus but not required)

Duration: 6 mo CTHire

Location: Onsite Hybrid 3 days a week in Hartford, CT ONLY (remote not considered)

Visa: Only GC or USc

REQUIRED SKILLS ( Resume MUST SHOW EXPERIENCE with the following ):

• Building generic Gen AI Patterns to support various use cases
• Python – Hands-on development experience (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Using Python, Lambda, step functions, etc. for building GEN AI data ingestion pipelines
• Building application pipelines with AWS services, working with LLM models
• Deploying artifacts using CICD pipelines built with Jenkins and Terraform
• Experience working with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain with experience in NLP and Deep Learning
• Minimum 4 years on AWS

The person would be working mainly on building application pipelines with AWS services, working with LLM models and then deploying artifacts using CICD pipelines built with Jenkins and Terraform

What type of application will they be developing? Will this contractor primarily be working on new development or maintaining the current environment?

The contractor will be part of the new build as stated above

Will this contractor be testing the application/software they are developing?

Yes

What other tools or technologies do you want this contractor to have experience with/how will they be interacting with these tools in this role?

Experience working with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain with experience in NLP and Deep Learning

What type of background should this contractor have in order to meet the needs of your team? Do they need to hold a specific degree or certification?

Development experience with AWS services and hands-on python development experience. Experience with Terraform/Jenkins would be expected.

• This contractor will be working on building the Gen AI pipelines and patterns. Resume should show WHAT they have done/ accomplished, not just what they have used.

• The person on this role will be part of group of engineers on the team who all work towards a common goal of democratizing Gen AI within The Hartford by building robust frameworks that any end user can leverage without having to worry about underlying complexities
