We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Operations Enablement team. The Ops Enablement team is part of the Global Operations Strategy & Transformation team, which focuses on strategic business transformation initiatives across SoFi and Galieo to align people, processes, and tools with company priorities.The Ops Enablement team focuses on multi-team process improvement projects, client and internal communications, change management projects, operationalizing new products through our go to market process, employee training / upskilling, and creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Role:
As an Ops Enablement Business Analyst, the bulk of your time will be spent establishing and documenting key Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including detailed guidance on creating pre-defined Jira tickets. You will establish detailed templates for key ticketing use cases based on what each receiving team requires for a given unit of work. To help launch new products and features, you will also coordinate operational readiness tasks such as training sessions. You will be responsible for analyzing and diagramming existing operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement transformative solutions. You will occasionally assist with scoping requirements for new projects.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Jira tickets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify all steps required for enabling a given feature.
- Ensure SOPs are clear, concise, and well documented.
- Regularly update SOPs to reflect changes in processes or system updates.
- Analyze and create diagrams of existing operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define project objectives for change management projects.
- Provide analytical and operational support to both new and existing processes, helping drive the success of Product, Engineering, and Delivery (EPD) and Client Success initiatives, or special projects.
- Use Smartsheet templates for tracking.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (2 years) in business analysis, operations management, project management, or process improvement roles.
- Very strong writing skills required - experience with technical writing preferred.
- Keen ability to identify dependencies.
- Proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and process optimization techniques (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
- Strong working knowledge of Jira including understanding Jira projects, issue types, summaries, descriptions, workflows, etc.
- Familiarity with the general functionality of APIs and their business value.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Change management expertise, including experience facilitating organizational change and driving the adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Proven track record of execution in a multi-disciplinary, high-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, organized self-starter with a passion for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Capable of grasping and utilizing complex ideas and strategies.
- An understanding of the Galileo business, products, and services is a plus.
