What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Gallagher Tire, Inc?
THE MISSION:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Associate performs various tasks associated with accurate and efficient product receiving, shipping, and order-picking, along with several other warehouse-related duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receiving, processing, labeling of incoming and outgoing stock
· Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
· Inspecting all stock for damage and keeping records of damages
· Organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient warehouse space
· Preparing orders for shipment
· Utilization of stock management tools; for example, a forklift, inventory management systems
· Counting stock and keeping inventory records
KEY REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:
· Experience with inventory software
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· A forklift driver's certification (training and certification provided)
· Physical stamina -
· The ability to be a team player
· Reliable transportation
· Exhibits strong attention to detail, initiative, critical thinking, and leadership skills
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· High School diploma or equivalent
