Job Description: Gallant Therapy Services (GTS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Augusta!
About Us: A unique provider whose mission is to improve the lives of children and adults with developmental delays, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and Autism. GTS uses a client centered, strengths based approach with meaningful activities and skilled, trauma informed staff to help clients to maximize their independence and live their lives to the fullest.
A Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist: As an OTA you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, guiding treatment sessions based upon client plan of cares, documenting client progress and increasing functional participation of daily living skills.
To be successful in this position you must enjoy working with people, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, time management and possess a professional/personable demeanor.
Qualifications to be a Occupational Therapist:
- Licensed as an OTA in the State of Maine.
- Active problem solver.
- Can work independently.
- Friendly, engaging, and positive personality.
- Timely and thorough in documentation and session prep.
- Strong organization skills.
- Must pass all required background checks
