Galleria Woods Senior Living is a premier retirement community nestled among 20 wooded acres in Birmingham’s prestigious Riverchase area. We are recruiting an experience full-time Healthcare Liaison for our 30 bed skilled nursing and 24 bed assisted living.

Pay Rate: $65,000-$68,000 (based on experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE YOU WILL:

• Represent the Health Center and Galleria Woods to assigned hospital and healthcare focused accounts to drive sales and occupancy goals for assigned skilled nursing and assisted living communities.
• Generate referrals from hospitals and assigned accounts to increase market share to meet occupancy goals.
• Keep abreast of issues impacting hospital changes as well as competitors to keep community and regional team aware of any changes that would impact the market.
• Partner with regional and community leadership to develop strategic plans and tactics to grow market share within assigned accounts.

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE…

• Prefer a Bachelors degree in a healthcare related field.
• Three to five years of admissions experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to create a case management database.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple referrals at the same time.
• Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance knowledge.
• Strong marketing experience with the ability to create a referral marketing plan.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Daily car travel is required with a valid drivers’ license. Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

• The ability to use a computer is a must and windows-based programs (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• The ability to facilitate problem solving as well as work through difficult situations with teams.
