Pay Rate: $18-24 per hour (based on experience)
What You need:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area is preferred and PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Requires one or more years of experience in Human Resources.
- Requires excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi tasks.
- Experience with Oracle, HCM, UKG Dimensions/Kronos, Relias or other HRIS, timekeeping and training systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite- Word, Excel, and Power Point. Prefer experience with Canva.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, and management.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:
- Assume responsibility for all post offer / pre- employment checks (criminal background, abuse and licensure checks, drug testing, physical are requested and completed post hire and documented in the employee’s personnel file.
- Provide all eligible new hires benefits packets and ensure receipt documentation is placed in file.
- Enter new hires and status changes in HRIS system.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation(s) with the community leadership team and with new hires.
- Track new hire and annual training requirements.
- Tracks employee renewals for specific certifications/licenses.
- Tracks 90-day evaluations and departmental on-boarding checklist.
- Serve on the safety and culture committee.
- Assist with planning and preparation of employee engagement functions at the Community.
- Serve as back up for payroll processing.
