Responsibilities
The instructor will:
- Instruct courses.
- Conduct and assist with practical demonstrations in various settings, including classrooms, pools, and firefields.
- Contribute to the development, revision, and printing of course materials.
- Prepare classroom for each week's class.
- Provide support to mariners with training and application processes.
This position typically follows a Monday-Friday schedule, but it may require weekend work for special events. Travel may also be necessary, depending on operational needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Master 1600 GRT/3000 GT license
- Certified Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO)
- US work authorization
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of experience as Master on a vessel of at least 1600 GRT/3000 GT
- Certified Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO)
