Participates in the development of supply chain business initiatives and plays a role in offering insights to leadership. Researches and evaluates threats and opportunities to supply chain ability to plan, source, produce and distribute products. Provides financial, supply chain, and business-related analyses to assess the impact of various projects, systems and transactions.
What You Will Do:
- Supports strategic business initiatives by providing in-depth analysis as well as quantify financial impact.
- Understands key drivers of the business and analyzes data-driven performance measures to support decision-making processes. Recognizes threats and opportunities from data insights and communicates to leadership.
- Leads and supports initiatives focusing on key drivers impacting the key department goals, cost savings, capital investments, and new product launches.
- Leads Participates in supply chain project teams for key department goals and continuous improvement.
- Supports business target setting to understand current year forecasts/outlooks and longer-range outlook and strategic business plans.
- Develops Participates in the development of supply strategies to determine how the organization will deal with all types of variations including demand, production performance and capacity management.
- Prepares forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
- Prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes complex detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management and recommends action or change for assigned projects.
- Supports S&OP process.
- Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures and KPIs.
- Suggests special business-related studies as requested.
- Participates in scenario planning activities and ask the "what if" questions.
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies; Develops in annual operating plan and ongoing spend reconciliation with suppliers as needed.
- Determine if KPI's can be automated and drives process chances that are necessary to automate.
- Leads Attends meetings with key stakeholders to discusses forecasting; Meets with supply chain partners about progress to ensure communication between teams.
- Develops supplier scorecards and distributes report out to stakeholders.
- Manages Monitors forecast error at the SKU/State level through the use of Class A business processes. Demonstrates leadership participates in in business analysis activities to form better product and market knowledge to deliver improved forecast accuracy.
- Uses rigorous Pareto analysis and logic to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHEN SUPPORTING SOURCING & CO-MANUFACTURING
- Creates and maintains new databases for each category commodity, containing key business information such as company and market consumption history, leading suppliers, and industry capacity, forecasts and trends.
- ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHEN SUPPORTING SUPPLY PLANNING
- Uses rigorous Pareto analysis and logic to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
- ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHEN SUPPORTING DEMAND
- Develops and manages tactical, 4-18 month, and five-year depletion and shipment SCP and High Side forecasts based on analysis of volume trends, marketing and sales plans, and general market conditions using various technical tools for data extraction, manipulation, and extrapolation.
- Maintains the modeling parameters within SAP IBP Demand Planning to generate the most accurate forecast while leveraging a proper mix between statistical data and market intelligence.
- Performs critical analysis that provides SKU and geography "gaps to plan" that enable General Management to put necessary corrective action in place.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of supply chain, corporate finance, engineering, sourcing, production/operations, or Analytical experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WHEN SUPPORTING A CRUSH SITE
- Must be available to work 6 days a week during the harvest season (August through October) to include weekends, day shift, and swing shift.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
- MBA Master's degree plus 1 years of Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Military, Statistics, Sales, Consulting or Wine Industry Experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 1 years of Gallo experience to include supply chain analytics and/or financial modeling work reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Military, Statistics, Sales, Consulting or Wine Industry Experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Consumer Products Goods (CPG) or strategy consulting experience.
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, Power Pivots, VLOOKUPS, Solver, Array Functions, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI).
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $27.25 - $41.00 / hourly
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
