We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Survey CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of survey drawings, maps, and plans using CAD software, working closely with the survey team to ensure accuracy and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the field of surveying and CAD drafting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing survey drawings, topographic maps, site plans, and other survey-related documents using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Work with field survey crews to ensure accurate data collection and translation into digital plans.
- Review and verify survey data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Update and maintain digital and paper records of survey data and drawings.
- Collaborate with senior surveyors and engineers to assist in drafting survey-related designs and plans.
- Apply basic surveying principles to accurately produce drawings based on field data.
- Maintain organization and file management for survey project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and legal requirements.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve technical skills.
