AP Accountant

We custom manufacture complete systems for storefronts, curtain walls, skylights, interior glass walls, solariums, sunrooms, and a broad spectrum of exterior and interior architectural metal components. We have been manufacturing and fenestrating quality products for over 35 years and have graced many notable buildings in the New York Metropolitan Area since 1986.

Gamco is currently looking for a full-time, talented AR Accountant to join our team. Your primary duties will include communicating with customers to collect payments, generating tracking an financial reports, and updating key stakeholders on company finances, among other duties. Learning is accomplished through on-the-job training. Education in the field of Finance/Accounting or relevant work experience is required. The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and in a timely manner is required.

Primary Job Duties:

Match vendor invoices to the purchase orders received from the purchase team

Review and record the invoice in the system and issue the payment in a timely manner

Validate the difference between the purchase order and invoice amount and follow up with the internal team for the adjustment

Communicates with vendors for payment or adjustment on the existing invoice.

Day-to-day bookkeeping and assists in monthly closings

Performs other related duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

• Associate degree with 2 years of Accounts payable/receivable experience preferred
• Good Communication skills in both oral and written.
• Highly organized, attention to detail and capable of multitasking
• Proficiency in MS Office and prior experience with accounting software preferred(e.g. Quickbooks, Sage, etc.)
• Must be a good team player and maintain a strong positive attitude
• Bilingual in Chinese/English(preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
