Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

Gameday Men's Health Clinic Rocklin is looking for a part-time Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant. Gameday specializes in testosterone replacement therapy, erectile dysfunction, weight loss and vitamin therapy. The Phlebotmist position is part-time and ideal for someone who is interested in the growing men's health and hormone replacement therapy field.

Rate: $22-$25/hr dependent upon experience.

Job Duties:

• Greeting patients
• Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
• Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins)
• Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
• Assisting medical providers with patient care
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and maintain electronic health records in EMR
• Conducting intake, including vitals and entering into EMR
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and providing support
• Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment

• Ability to establish and maintain effective individual and team working relationships with Gameday Franchisor, practice employees and consumers.
• Exhibits a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Demonstrates an understanding of Gameday’s mission in performing all aspects of the position.
• Handles confidential information as defined in Federal HIPAA guidelines.

Competencies, Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
• Certification as a Phlebotomist from an accredited program
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• BLS Certified
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding procedures
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Part time: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am-5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
