Order Pulling Supervisor

Torrance’s Order Pulling Department is searching for a highly motivated individual that is looking to peruse a Management role within Ganahl Lumber. You will be tasked with leading your team in providing the highest level of hospitality to our patrons as well as replenishing stock levels and managing inventory. Helping to develop people to reach their highest capabilities while promoting growth within our company. The schedule varies with start times at 6:00am, 9:30am, and 2:00pm with a rotating Saturday shift. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills here at Torrance, where you will be at the ground level of our company’s evolution.
The ideal candidate:

• Has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction
• Values and prioritizes safe work practices while possessing the desire to become a Safety Captain
• Holds a great safety record with good communication skills who can train, lead, and build a safe working culture
• Has a track record of leadership that establishes Ganahl’s culture of hospitality
• Works with other departments to help service the customers of Ganahl

• Organizational and Prioritizing are a must.  This is a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking and the ability to make the right decision
• Proficient with Accuterm, scheduling, ticket writing, credit memo, along with Word and Excel programs
• Capable of teaching proper use of the forklift and saw
