The Order Fulfillment Support Specialist is responsible for providing essential support across multiple roles while specializing in the accurate and timely shipping of website and Amazon orders. This position also manages the receiving of shipments from the factory, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient stock organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping: Accurately pack and ship website and Amazon orders, ensuring all items are prepared according to brand standards and client expectations.
- Amazon Order Management: Oversee the fulfillment of Amazon orders, including managing inventory levels, updating tracking information, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Website Order Coordination: Process and ship website orders, collaborating with order processors to verify product availability and order accuracy.
- Receiving Shipments: Receive and inspect incoming shipments from the factory, verifying the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock received inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing order delays.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect received products for damages, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management.
- Multi-Role Assistance: Provide general support to sales associates, order processors, and quality control staff as needed to maintain efficient workflow.
- Communication & Coordination: Communicate order statuses, shipping updates, and potential delays to relevant team members.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve shipping and receiving issues, including lost packages, returns, and order discrepancies.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and order fulfillment metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or inventory management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and e-commerce platforms for order processing and fulfillment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical activity, including standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and adapt to changing schedules.
